Customs Brokerage Operations | Rutherford, NJ| $90K-$110K | Onsite Position

We're hiring an Import Manager for a well established Customs Broker and freight forwarder in New Jersey, in business since for decades and growing quick!
You'll take the lead on day-to-day Customs Brokerage operations, guide a team of Entry Writers, and be the go-to person when something needs a sharper eye or a faster resolution. It's hands-on, it's fast paced, and it comes with real ownership.
What you'll be doing:
- Overseeing daily Customs Brokerage operations and entry processing
- Guiding and mentoring a team of Entry Writers
- Reviewing entries for accuracy and compliance before submission
- Resolving Customs rejections, RFIs, and compliance issues
- Jumping in hands-on to file entries when the team needs it
- Helping shape SOPs and drive process improvements
What you bring:
- 5+ years of Customs Brokerage Operations experience
- An active U.S. Customs Broker License
- Experience supervising or mentoring Entry Writers is a big plus
- Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and import compliance
- Sharp problem solving skills and a steady head under pressure
