Position Summary

The Supplier Quality Analyst supports the Supplier Quality function by managing administrative and execution activities related to supplier performance and compliance. Reporting to the Senior Supplier Quality Engineer, this role is responsible for maintaining non‑conformance records (NCR), supporting Material Review Board (MRB) processes, managing data within the Quality Management System (QMS) software, and assisting with supplier qualification activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Non‑Conformance Reporting (NCR) Management
    • Create, document, and maintain Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) for supplier‑related issues
    • Ensure accurate and timely entry of NCR data into the Quality Management System (QMS)
    • Track NCRs through investigation, disposition, and closure
    • Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure proper documentation and response timelines
    • Analyze NCR trends and support identification of recurring supplier issues
  • Supplier Quality Issue Management (Containment, RCA, CAPA)
    • Support containment activities for non‑conforming supplier materials to prevent production impact
    • Assist in supplier root cause analysis
    • Track supplier corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to closure and verify responses meet requirements
    • Maintain clear communication and follow‑up with suppliers regarding quality issues and expectations
  • Materials Review Board (MRB) Support
    • Support MRB activities for supplier‑related non‑conforming materials
    • Ensure proper segregation, identification, and documentation of non‑conforming material
    • Coordinate disposition decisions with Supplier Quality Engineers, Engineering, and Operations
    • Maintain accurate records of MRB decisions and ensure traceability within the QMS
    • Assist in driving timely disposition to minimize impact to production schedules
  • Quality Management System (QMS) Software
    • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records within the QMS software, including NCRs, CAPAs, and supplier data
    • Support data integrity, reporting, and system updates related to supplier quality activities
    • Generate reports and metrics to support supplier performance monitoring and management reviews
    • Assist with additional quality‑related tasks and cross‑functional support as needed
  • Supplier Qualification Activities
    • Support supplier qualification and onboarding processes, including documentation and record collection
    • Assist in maintaining supplier approval records, certifications, and quality documentation
    • Support preparation and follow‑up activities for supplier audits and assessments
    • Track supplier performance data to support ongoing qualification and re‑evaluation
    • Collaborate with Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure supplier compliance with company and customer requirements
Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Analytical thinking with hands‑on problem‑solving capability
  • Ability to perform physical product teardown and investigation
  • Strong written communication skills, especially in technical report writing
  • High accountability and ownership of assigned tasks
  • Effective communication and ability to work cross‑functionally
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Education and/or Experience
  • Associate degree in a technical field preferred
  • Or 1‑3 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or related field
  • Experience with root cause analysis (Preferred)
  • Basic understanding of ISO quality standards (Preferred)
  • Experience with NCR, MRB, Supplier Quality, SCAR, CAPA, QMS (Preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Physical Demands

The employee is required to move around and be still; use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Employee will occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

Office and shop floor working environment. Noise level is minimal with intervals of spikes. Required to wear safety glasses and utilize safety equipment while present on the shop floor.

Benefits

Total Rewards:
The compensation range for this position is $59,700.00 - $89,500.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for a performance based bonus plan.
