We are seeking a Sales Representative to support a national provider of linen solutions for the special events industry. This role focuses on building customer relationships, identifying needs, and recommending rental and purchase options. The Sales Representative will manage accounts, present customized solutions, and contribute to growth within a collaborative, service-driven sales team.
Main Responsibilities- Engage customers through phone, email, in-person meetings, and industry events
- Assess client needs and recommend appropriate linen products and programs
- Present product features, customization capabilities, and value propositions
- Create detailed pricing proposals and follow up on leads and inquiries
- Manage assigned accounts while developing new business opportunities
- Perform prospecting, lead research, and account development activities
- Participate in trade shows, product demonstrations, and industry functions
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction
- Build a thorough understanding of linen offerings, including fabric types, durability, care requirements, and construction
- Stay current on seasonal trends and industry developments
- Clearly communicate differences between rental and purchase options, including customization possibilities
- Prior sales experience required; background in event rental or linen-related industries is a strong plus
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working independently while contributing to a team-oriented culture
- Persistent, goal-driven, and results-focused
