Special Education Teacher

Central Vermont Area - Full-Time | Part-Time | Flexible Opportunities

This role is designed for licensed Special Education Teachers seeking school-based opportunities with strong support and flexible placement options.

We are a newly founded education branch of a tenured boutique staffing firm built with one goal in mind: advocating for educators while helping schools provide exceptional student services. We prioritize personalized support, transparent communication, and matching professionals with placements that are genuinely the right fit for both educators and school communities.

We are currently partnering with schools throughout the Central Vermont Area to identify dedicated, student-centered Special Education Teachers for school-based opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs in school settings
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with student goals
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
  • Conduct assessments and progress monitoring to guide instruction and IEP updates
  • Support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility and placement decisions
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
  • Active Vermont Special Education Teaching License required
  • Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction across a range of student needs and grade levels
