As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Rutland Center for Living and Rehabilitation, you will play a vital role in our mission to provide cutting-edge clinical programs and services to our patients and residents. About the Role:- Assist Physical Therapists in the implementation of patient treatment plans
- Conduct physical therapy treatments and interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and clinical practices
- Maintain accurate and complete records of patient treatments and progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans
- Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and exercises
- Provide assistive devices and supportive equipment to patients
- Conduct patient education and training on proper body mechanics and exercise techniques
- Participate in care conferences and patient rounds
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Physical Therapy department
