Position: Shift 2 CNC Machine Operator (III)

** CNC Machine Operator (III)  Shift 2: 3pm-11pm  Starting pay range: $18.75-$20.78

* POSITION SUMMARY:

** This key position requires the efficient and safe operation of multiple CNC machines. Also requires excellent math skills, mechanical skill, and ability to read and follow customer specifications. CNC operator level III performs limited set-ups and requires some supervision.

** RESPONSIBILITIES:
*** Follow safety rules, procedures, guidelines, and training given. Recognize and report hazards to designated individual(s). Actively participate in safety program. Practice safe work habits and report accidents/injuries immediately.
* Flexibility in job assignments and adaptability to changing business needs
* Continually learn and apply new skills.
* Use vacuum lift and/or manually load CNC machines with plywood sheet stock. Unload, stack, and clean when cycle is complete. Re-set for new cycle.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
* Interface with manufacturing personnel, across departments and shifts on material status and production assembly issues.
* Confer with shift supervisor to coordinate and organize materials.
* Communicate well and get along with team members, actively listen, ask questions to understand, provide encouragement.
* Collaboratively support a cooperative and positive team environment.
* Maintain excellent attendance, with overtime required as business needs dictate.
* Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned and fill in at other areas, or buildings, as needed.## Qualifications

Education / Experience:

* Prior machine operation/manufacturing experience required with CNC operation preferred.
* General knowledge of small hand tools.

* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations
* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
* Proficiency in reading a tape measure
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
