Hiring minimum is $17 per hour.

Caris Reels is seeking quality‑minded, dependable individuals to join our talented team of Employee Owners at our West Rutland Assembly Division. These key positions require working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, assembling wood reels for the wire and cable industry. Long periods of standing, attention to safe practices, hand‑eye coordination, and the ability to work in a team setting are also required.

• Follow established methods and procedures necessary to build a wooden reel
• Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules and customer specifications with minimum supervision
• Interpersonal and group communication skills are necessary
• Be familiar with, and use, measuring tools. Must be able to perform simple shop math
• Build wood reels using hand and pneumatic tools
• Must be able to read and interpret customer spec cards and maintain production flow
• Clean and maintain the work area
• Follow prescribed safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment
• Report defective materials, or questionable conditions, to the department supervisor

• Must be able to regularly lift and move materials or finished product up to 50 pounds
• Required to stand, bend, lift arms, and reach
