- Work in the Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
- 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 pm to 7:15 am
- Care for laboring mothers and newborns in both the delivery room and operating room
- Assignment is 13 weeks in duration
- EMR and additional technology details may be discussed during orientation
- Biweekly orientation sessions are provided
- Schedule requests are approved at the manager’s discretion
- Local candidates are not accepted for this assignment
- Candidates are encouraged to have their own vehicle due to limited public transportation options
- Active VT or compact RN license is required
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN fetal monitoring certifications required
- Experience caring for newborns at delivery, in the delivery room, and in the OR is preferred
- Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
