RN - PACU

This position requires 10-hour day and evening shifts on a rotating basis.

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the PACU will provide high-quality care to pediatric and gynecological patients in the post-anesthesia care unit. The RN is responsible for monitoring patients' recovery, administering medications, and ensuring overall patient safety.

• Monitor and assess patients’ post-operative condition.
• Administer medications as prescribed and provide necessary interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality care.
• Educate patients and families about post-operative care.

• Active RN license in any state (VT license must be applied for upon acceptance).
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and dysrhythmia testing.
• Experience with pediatric and gynecological patients is essential.
• Cerner EMR experience is preferred.

This is a 13-week contract position.
