Work Schedule:
Evenings (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) Guaranteed
Hours:
40 Hours/Week Weekend Requirement:
Weekends Required
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician
- Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report any changes to the RN or physician
- Provide direct nursing care, including wound care and other clinical procedures
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
- Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, physicians, and other healthcare team members to provide quality resident care
- Follow infection prevention, safety protocols, and facility policies
- Deliver compassionate, resident-centered care while promoting dignity, comfort, and independence
To be considered for this position, you should have:
- Minimum 2 years of Long-Term Care (LTC) experience preferred
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred
- Proficient in medication administration and nursing documentation
- Strong assessment, communication, and patient care skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program
- Active Vermont LPN License (or Compact License, if applicable)
- BLS Certification required
