Key Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse

• Provide care for Med Surg, Ortho, and Trauma patients
• Conduct wound care, dressing changes, and manage wound vacs and drains
• Initiate and maintain peripheral IVs and administer IV antibiotics
• Support post-op patients with specialized care including those with external fixators and joint replacements
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care

Requirements of the Licensed Practical Nurse

• Active RN License (GA)
• BLS, NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Inpatient Rehab or Med Surg
