Compensation: $115,000 – $145,000

A prominent regional healthcare system is seeking a full-scope Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join a thriving, hospital-owned OB/GYN practice in Rutland, Vermont. This is an opportunity to deliver patient-centered, evidence-based women's health care as part of a collaborative team supporting approximately 300 births annually.

• Take first call for OB and Gyn patients, with call shifts typically structured as 24-hour shifts—one day a week and one weekend a month—using a dedicated office located on the same floor as the Labor & Delivery unit
• Provide full-scope midwifery care, managing wellness, reproductive, and gynecological health from adolescence through menopause
• Deliver autonomous and collaborative intrapartum care, managing labor and delivery at the adjacent medical center
• Collaborate with a highly autonomous nursing team, respiratory therapists, and pediatricians to facilitate roughly 300 births each year
• Maintain collaborative, evidence-based practices focused on patient safety, quality improvement, and patient education
• Complete accurate, timely, and compliant electronic charting and documentation in alignment with hospital and regulatory standards

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) and Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) licensure per the Vermont State Board of Nursing (or immediate eligibility to obtain prior to hire)
• Current national certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB)
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Active DEA registration number (or the ability to obtain immediately upon hire)

• Minimum of 2 years of professional CNM experience
• Proven experience with ultrasound assessment and interpretation
• Hands-on proficiency with GYN procedures, including IUD/Nexplanon insertions, minor I&Ds, and colposcopy
• Prior clinical experience serving as a first assist at C-sections
• Professional background operating comfortably in both outpatient clinics and hospital-based acute labor and delivery settings
