Job Opportunity – PCU/Med Surg/Telemetry Nurse – Vermont

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Newport, Vermont

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift with every other weekend rotation. Flexibility required for floating to Emergency Department and other units as needed.

• Two positions available in a 25-bed critical access hospital setting
• Progressive Care Unit, Medical-Surgical, and Telemetry experience utilized
• Charge nurse responsibilities included – ideal for independent, experienced nurses
• Cross-training opportunities across multiple departments including Emergency Department
• Located in the scenic Northeast Kingdom region near the Canadian border
• Quick start opportunity available for immediate consideration

• Current RN license in Vermont or ability to obtain
• PCU, Med Surg, and/or Telemetry nursing experience required
• Ability to work independently and assume charge nurse duties
• Flexibility to float to other units including Emergency Department and Mother/Child Health
• Attendance at quarterly department education sessions required
• Personal transportation strongly recommended due to limited public transit
