Position Summary
Based in North Clarendon, VT, the Production Supervisor will perform essential job functions associated with surface technology under the direction of the Production Manager. The role is safety‑sensitive and requires assisting other employees as needed to meet customer specifications.
Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)- Responsible for oversight of the department and process (including staffing) to ensure safety, accuracy, quality, and on‑time delivery.
- Provide process improvements and make recommendations for solutions.
- Instruct and direct work activities of employees in assigned work areas.
- Train and direct the activities of department employees, maintaining effective communication of customer needs/requirements and company goals.
- Develop associates through effective training, personal engagement, introductory reviews, and the Annual Performance Review process.
- Assure that objectives for safety, schedule attainment, quality, and productivity are met.
- Assist in the hiring process and new associate orientation.
- Perform job‑related administrative duties (Epicor, UKG, Associate Transactions, etc.).
- Maintain fair and consistent application of all company policies and procedures.
- Keep close track of work in progress and regularly confer with foreman and/or management staff.
- Operate, control, and monitor equipment as needed or required.
- Promote safety and good housekeeping practices.
- Perform other tasks as assigned or dictated by position.
- Maintain confidentiality of compensation information of other employees or applicants.
- Responsible for the care and treatment of customers’ inventory and perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage.
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. - Must demonstrate the ability to read, write and communicate in English.
- Knowledge and hands‑on experience of computer applications including Microsoft Office and databases.
- Minimum two years of leadership experience in a similar industry.
- Ability to effectively oversee employees as designated using leadership qualities such as listening, observance, patience, objectivity, and responsiveness.
- May be required to work overtime or any shift, including weekends, to meet company commitments/goals.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift operator certification.
- This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements; candidates must be U.S. citizens or Permanent Resident Card holders.
- Must be able to work in a standing position for extended periods in an industrial environment.
- Manual dexterity for data entry functions.
- Ability to bend, pull, stoop, and reach to perform functions.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, humidity, etc.
- Must have the cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions.
- Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.
- Ability to hear in person and via phone.
The hourly pay range for this position is $39.68 - $45.63 per hour. Starting pay is determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications. This position is classified as non‑exempt and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with state and federal law.
Additional compensation may include shift differential, etc., if applicable.

Candidates must pass a pre‑employment drug screen and basic physical; have the ability to work full‑time, 40+ hours per week.
