Job Overview
Full‑time Retail Supervisor – responsible for achieving and maintaining all client and customer standards by overseeing and directing the activities of retail associates within assigned territories. Works closely with Business Development Managers, Brands, Retail Managers, and other retail personnel to meet business objectives. Located in Queensbury, NY and Rutland, VT.

- Manage and direct retail associates, conduct store audits, execute and complete all retail projects.
- Maintain client objectives by ensuring products are fully stocked, correctly signed, properly faced, and set to schematics.
- Establish and maintain client relationships including appointments.
- Monitor and regulate expenses against position and team budget standards.
- Communicate accurately and timely with direct reports; perform administrative and coaching duties.
- Business Development:
Build goodwill with trade and clients, place new items, and ensure completion of all retail projects. - Client Audits:
Effectively manage and direct retail personnel, conduct store audits, and execute all retail projects. - Sales and Merchandising:
Ensure products are fully stocked, signed, faced, and displayed per schematic standards. - New Items:
Place new items in all authorized stores. - Shelf Standards:
Authorize items to meet client shelf schematic standards. - Call Coverage:
Oversee call coverage through scheduling merchandisers and reviewing reports. - Budget and Expense Control:
Maintain budgets and achieve goals of staying under budget. - Administration/Reporting:
Complete accurate and timely paperwork, recaps, itineraries, timesheets, expense reports, etc. - Direct, hire, retain, train, coach, guide, direct, and develop direct reports using company processes and tools.
- Travel and driving are essential duties and function of this job.
- Travel up to 30% of the time.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
- 4 years of applicable retail experience.
- 2+ years supervisory experience.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Well‑organized, detail‑oriented, and able to handle a fast‑paced work environment.
- Ability to work independently.
- Basic computer skills, familiarity with Word, Excel, and Internet usage.
- Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
Physical Requirements
- Work may be performed in an office, field, retail store, or warehouse environment.
- Approximately 66%+ of the day spent in physical activity, including lifting or pushing up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and handling products or cooking food as needed.
- May be required to work in extremely cold conditions (e.g., refrigerated and freezer sections).
- Use proper safety practices when handling products and/or cooking.
