Assistant Frozen Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Consistently provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times.
• Smile, make eye contact, and thank customers after fulfilling requests.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
• Assist the Grocery Manager with day‑to‑day operations of the frozen food area, including product merchandising, pricing, stocking, signing, planograms, displays, rotation, and inventory levels.
• Assist with ordering all merchandise and supplies for the frozen foods area and meeting transmission times.
• Store excess product in freezer.
• Provide a high level of customer courtesy and service throughout the store.
• Front‑end services may be required as business needs arise.
• Ensure compliance with company and state sanitation and pricing procedures and regulations.
• Unload frozen food merchandise from trucks.
• Manage damages and reclaims per company guidelines.
• Assist with training and development of new associates in the frozen food area.
• Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results and objectives.
