Branch & Insurance Specialist

Overview

This is an exciting entry‑level position in our branch network, ideal for candidates who enjoy teamwork and helping AAA members with insurance and service support.

Onsite in Rutland, Vermont. Branch hours:
Monday‑Friday 8:30 AM–5:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM–1:00 PM.

• Receive comprehensive training on AAA products and services to confidently interact with members and achieve individual and team cross‑selling goals.
• Provide exceptional service to members in‑branch and over the phone for insurance policies, membership, billing, passport photos, road‑trip planning, and cashiering duties.
• Perform routine and advanced support duties for agents and other team members.
• Develop insurance leads for office sales agents and life specialists.

• Prior experience in insurance, retail sales, banking, or a similar customer‑service/sales environment.
• Advanced customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work overtime, including Saturdays.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office basics.
• Proven ability to exceed assigned sales or service quality goals.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Adaptability to change and ability to meet deadlines.

• High School diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of background check and drug screening.
• Ability to navigate Windows, Outlook, Word, and the Internet.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in a customer‑service environment (helpful).
• Ability to exceed assigned service quality goals.
