Your Impact
Pearce is seeking Experienced HVAC Technicians to join our team for servicing and repairing commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on cell tower sites. This fast‑paced and rewarding position is best suited for individuals who are responsible, self‑directed, highly motivated, willing to travel, and looking to learn and grow in the telecom industry. This is a regional position. Candidates should reside in the Rutland, Vermont area.
CoreResponsibilities
- Maintain cooling systems – diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, or install and replace components of entire systems.
- Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Perform additional maintenance or upgrades on out‑of‑season HVAC equipment.
- Respond to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call‑out services.
- Complete daily work reports accurately and promptly.
- Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.
- Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (required).
- At least 3 years of HVAC maintenance experience, commercial preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components, including refrigeration systems.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Candidates should reside in the Rutland, Vermont area.
- Available for after‑hours and weekend call‑outs on occasion.
- Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure.
- Occasional overnight stays; company pays travel costs and provides per diem.
- Driving to remote work sites as needed.
- Exposure to ambient temperatures while working outdoors.
- Lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Required to pass a Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). salary: $62,400–$83,200 (DOE). In addition to wages, employees may be eligible for performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, tool/equipment and fuel stipends, company vehicle, per diem or other applicable compensation.What We Offer
