Role SummaryAs a Family Engagement Assistant, you will transport children and parents to needed services, provide supported contact in office and community settings, and help separated families have safe and productive time together. You may also call family members when youth enter DCF custody to assist in developing a support network.
Responsibilities- Transport children and parents to services.
- Provide supported contact for children and parents in office and community settings.
- Assist families in maintaining safe, productive relationships.
- Call family members when youth enter DCF custody to build support networks.
- Document work completed and maintain accurate records.
- High School diploma or equivalent (minimum age 18). An Associate’s Degree and experience in Human Services is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, ability to pass a background check and fingerprinting.
- Own reliable vehicle with insurance meeting coverage limits.
Full‑time Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm (40 hrs/week). Candidates interested in 30 hrs/week may be considered.
Compensation$18 per hour, with additional compensation based on experience.
