In this critical managerial role, you will oversee Canadian SR&ED tax claims and lead tax audits, providing compliance support. Your responsibilities encompass financial recordkeeping, ensuring adherence to global policies, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Internal Controls. Collaborating with operational teams enhances compliance and strengthens relationships with GL and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review SR&ED tax incentive claims
• Lead income tax audits and compliance activities
• Ensure month-end closing is executed timely
• Maintain compliance with global policy and US/Canadian GAAP
• Support statutory requirements and year-end audits
Requirements:
• BS/BA in Business, Accounting, or Finance
• Knowledge of US and Canadian GAAP
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle Fusion
• Fluency in English and French Canadian
• Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Office skills
