This position reports directly to the Manager of Campus Infrastructure and Utilities, focusing on carpentry-related repairs and installations. Your skills will be vital in executing general building repairs, crafting components from basic sketches, and addressing emergency call-ins beyond regular hours. The role emphasizes collaboration and responsiveness while maintaining safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general repairs to buildings and furnishings

• Construct and install components from sketches

• Respond to emergencies outside regular hours

• Undertake other assigned carpentry tasks
Requirements:

• Valid New Brunswick Journeyman Carpenter’s License

• Membership in CUPE Local 2338

• New Brunswick Driver's License

• Experience in flooring, drywall, and cabinetry

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
