The Slingmax Group is excited to announce an opportunity for a Business Support Analyst with Yale Cordage, part of the Slingmax Group family.

About the Role

Management Support Analyst serves as a strategic operational partner to the President and leadership team. This role is designed for a highly analytical and proactive professional who can interpret business data, identify improvement opportunities, and prepare clear, actionable insights that support leadership decision-making. This is not a traditional administrative position. While the role provides high-level executive coordination, its primary focus is business analysis, operational support, performance tracking, and leadership enablement.

The individual in this role will take ownership of select operational initiatives, reduce the administrative and analytical burden on leadership, and help drive continuous improvement across the organization. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capability with business acumen, discretion, and the ability to execute independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Compile, analyze, and interpret operational, financial, and performance data from multiple sources.
  • Develop dashboards, KPI reports, and executive summaries to support informed decision-making.
  • Identify trends, gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Translate complex data into clear, concise, and actionable reports and presentations.
  • Proactively monitor key metrics and escalate risks or opportunities to leadership.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and operational planning activities as needed.
  • Evaluate existing workflows and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives by tracking timelines, deliverables, and measurable outcomes.
  • Assist in implementing operational best practices and standardizing processes where appropriate.
  • Take ownership of select leadership-level coordination tasks to allow executives to focus on strategic priorities.
  • Track and follow up on action items from leadership meetings to ensure accountability and execution.
  • Provide high-level support to the President, including preparation of meeting materials, presentations, reports, and follow-up documentation.
  • Organize leadership meetings, prepare agendas, document outcomes, and monitor progress on strategic initiatives.
  • Manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Serve as a trusted partner by anticipating needs and proactively preparing relevant information.
  • Support customer service and order management functions as needed.
  • Assist with order entry, tracking, documentation, and internal coordination.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of customer and order records within company systems.
  • Identify trends in customer or order data that may signal operational improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in business support, operations, executive support, or analytical role.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and prepare reports for leadership.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis tools required).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience preparing executive-level presentations and summaries.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information.
Required Skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Business acumen and operational awareness.
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • High level of initiative and ownership.
  • Executive‑level written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Professional discretion and sound judgment.
  • Detail‑oriented with a high standard of accuracy.
  • Adaptable in a dynamic business environment.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience supporting senior leadership in a manufacturing or operational environment.
  • Background in business operations, finance, supply chain, or performance analysis.
  • Experience developing dashboards or performance tracking tools.
  • Familiarity with ERP or order management systems.
