Assistant Transportation Engineer – Region 3 design team.

Responsibilities:
- Preliminary design tasks, including development of Preliminary Design Reports to recommend the final project scope, preliminary cost estimates, and civil engineering tasks such as analysis of structure types, geometric design of roadways, hydraulic design, and other project needs.
- Final design responsibilities, including civil/structural design or design checks of all components, plan development, final cost estimates, and compiling all project specifications.
- Intermittent assignments to construction projects, inspecting and documenting work performed by contractors.
Qualifications:
- Evidence of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or closely related field, or, for non‑engineering graduates, a Certification of Engineer‑Intern issued by the State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers.
