Coordinates incoming and outgoing movement and storage of raw materials, finished products, and parts. Performs functions such as warehousing, shop, and delivery services to ensure material availability and delivery when needed to meet production schedules.
Compiles data on order volume, production schedules, and forecasts, and applies statistical methods to estimate future materials requirements.

- Supervises the daily activities of support staff or production team members.
- Must have at least one direct report.
- Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinates work activities with other supervisors.
- Problem solving is guided by policies and procedures; receives guidance and oversight from the manager.
- Consistent exercise of discretion and judgment.
- Supervises work and personnel associated with receiving, shipping, materials handling, warehousing, and/or expediting.
- Coordinates incoming/outgoing movement and storage of raw materials, finished products, and parts. Drafts and maintains production schedules.
- Ensures material availability and delivery.
- Oversees the day‑to‑day activities of production or operations workers.
- Uses order volume data to forecast and estimate future material requirements.
- Leads and directs the work of other employees and has some responsibility for personnel actions related to hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions with concurrence from the HR Directors & General Managers.
- Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 5–7 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education & Experience.
- Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree.
- Discipline/Major: Business Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related degree preferred.
- Knowledge, skills & abilities: Ability to develop and mentor others, foster teamwork, organizational skills, planning skills, analytical thinking skills.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
- Requires regular movement throughout GD‑OTS facilities.
- May need to stand for long periods of time.
- Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operate machinery.
- May be requested to work a different shift.
Up to 25% travel likely.
