Park Attendant Seasonal

Job Purpose

Assists in the maintenance and repair of bathhouses, pavilions, beach areas, and other park facilities under the close supervision of the Parks & Recreation Director.

Preferred:
Experience in property maintenance.

The incumbent must regularly sit, stand, walk, reach overhead, speak, and hear. The role requires use of hands for tools such as rakes, shovels, paint brushes, rollers, a 150‑psi pressure washer, broom, hand tools, wheelbarrow, and sprayer. Occasionally lifts up to 25 pounds and moves up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Work is mainly outdoors and can be noisy, dusty, greasy, smoky, and odorous. Conditions include exposure to varying temperatures, uneven or slippery surfaces, and periods of extended hours, evenings, and weekends.
