Job Summary
Our Guest Service Supervisor (GSS) is responsible for accomplishing store objectives by supervising staff and organizing and monitoring work processes directed by management.
Responsibilities- Supervise employees ensuring they perform all assigned duties.
- Coach employees by giving constructive feedback.
- Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
- Adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality, and store operations policies, procedures, and practices.
- Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards; maintain proper cash levels.
- Ensure all store housekeeping functions are completed, including cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash.
- Ensure 24/7 execution of all guest service programs and processes.
- Be responsible for all cash processes, which include deposit preparation, lottery, gift cards, and checks where applicable.
- Replenish products to maintain in-stock conditions.
- Address inquiries and complaints from guests.
- Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.
Job Requirements
- Must be available to work flexible hours that may include day, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be efficient and organized.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to freely access all areas of the store, including the selling floor, stock area, and register area.
- Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and lift up to 25 pounds during a shift.
- Work in intermittent temperatures, such as cooler or outside environments.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
$17.66 - $20.87
