Role DescriptionAccount Manager, US Petcare Division – field based, requiring travel and evening work for educational programs.
Position SummarySeeking a highly capable individual to utilize solution selling, territory management, and business planning capabilities to maximize sales performance within the assigned geography.
Position Responsibilities- Meet sales objectives and quota for key growth products through demand generation.
- Launch new products and service offerings, generate new equipment leads.
- Demonstrate solution selling abilities, build technical knowledge, and veterinary practice expertise.
- Build and maintain relationships with veterinary hospitals and personnel to grow relevance and access.
- Adhere to promotional guidelines and conduct in accordance with company policies.
- Develop and execute a Territory Business Plan, resource allocation, and call‑cycle to meet reach and frequency expectations.
- Complete field activity expectations, including sales call activity and medical education program investment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, maintaining professional conduct, integrity, and compliance.
- Undergraduate degree (BS/BA) required.
- 3–10 years of consultative sales experience in animal health.
- Experience in small animal veterinary medicine desirable.
- Track record of driving sales performance and finding opportunities.
- Analytical mindset using data for decision‑making.
- Strong follow‑through, attention to detail, and expense budget management.
- Independent self‑starter with teamwork skills.
- Willingness to incorporate feedback.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and ability to learn company systems.
- Good judgment and fair decision‑making based on relevant information.
Position Requirements
Ability and willingness to travel and work evenings as required.
