7th Grade Boys Lacrosse Coach

Saco Middle School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 7th Grade Boys Lacrosse Coach to lead and develop our middle school lacrosse team. The ideal candidate will foster a positive and competitive environment while teaching fundamental skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

• Plan and conduct effective practices focusing on skill development, strategy, and team cohesion.
• Teach fundamental lacrosse techniques and game strategies appropriate for middle school athletes.
• Promote a positive team culture emphasizing sportsmanship, discipline, and respect.
• Supervise players during practices, games, and team activities to ensure safety and adherence to team rules.
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administration regarding schedules, expectations, and progress.
• Uphold school and league policies while ensuring all players demonstrate good conduct on and off the field.

• Previous coaching experience (preferred) or strong knowledge of lacrosse.
• Passion for working with middle school athletes and helping them grow as players and individuals.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to provide a positive and structured learning environment.
• Must pass background checks as required by Saco School and district policies.

• Practices will take place after school from 3:!5 - 4:30 daily. Games will take place weekdays.
• The season runs from April 7th to June 6th.
