First Team Baseball Coach & JV Baseball Coach

Thornton Academy is seeking two dynamic individuals to serve as First Team Baseball Coach and JV Baseball Coach. These positions involve assisting the head coach in the overall direction and management of an education-based athletic team that competes in the Maine Principals' Association spring sports season (late March through early June). Successful candidates will have the ability to teach the fundamentals of the sport while also focusing on character development, sportsmanship, and teaching life lessons to participants.

The coach should be a strong communicator who also supports and represents the Four Pillars of Thornton Academy (Respect, Responsibility, Investment, Compassion).

• Three letters of reference, including contact information for each individual
• Copies of all post-secondary transcripts
  • Unofficial/student-issued transcripts are acceptable for initial application; official transcripts may be requested later.
• Evidence of current/active CHRC (required by Maine law)
