We are looking for a Tax Accountant to join our awesome and amazing team!

Job Duties:

• Prepare and review individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns and all related documents.
• Research federal, state, and local tax legislation to assist partners in tax preparation.
• Host in-person or over the phone client meetings.
• Must be able to multitask and work in a timely manner.
• Assist with workflow management and supervise staff and interns on engagements.
• Supervise and maintain control over the tax and accounting processes.
• Have previous financial statement accounting knowledge.

Requirements:

• Must be a strong team player.
• Experience using Lacerte and Quick Books.
• Have strong accounting, analytical, and research skills.
• Familiar with federal, state, and local reporting requirements.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Previous preparation and review knowledge for individual, partnership, and corporate returns.
• Have strong writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Have strong organizational and management skills.

Preferred Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 2+ years’ experience in tax or accounting firm

We are a fast acting, straight to the point firm that really enjoys working in the industry. With a team that was born and raised in the South Bay, we understand the importance of community and we treat our clients like friends.

We have an enthusiastic office that likes to work hard in the on season so we can enjoy ourselves in the off season. We try to keep a light and fun office environment. We have a staff of 12-20 depending on the time of year. We are a very team oriented firm and looking for another member to join.
