About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Associate to join our Billing team. The Billing Associate will be responsible for timely invoicing and maintaining thorough records of all transactions. The ideal candidate is very knowledgeable in Excel, has strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do- Invoice Generation: Prepare and issue accurate invoices to clients, ensuring all necessary billing information is captured and calculated correctly.
- Billing Discrepancies: Address and resolve billing inquiries and discrepancies in a timely and professional manner, collaborating with internal departments as needed.
- Data Entry & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date billing records, entering transaction details into the billing system and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Payment Tracking: Monitor incoming payments, process them efficiently, and reconcile with billing records.
- Customer Communication: Respond to client questions related to billing, providing clear explanations and assisting with any adjustments or corrections as needed.
- Reporting: Assist with preparing regular billing reports and summaries for management review.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving billing processes and contribute to ongoing efficiency efforts.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required;
Associate's Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. - 1-3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
The pay range for this role is: 24 - 27 USD per hour (Sacramento)
