Senior Accountant

Overview

Our client is currently seeking an experienced and detail‑driven Senior Accountant to support one of our clients in managing complex accounting functions and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned accounting professional looking to join a dynamic organization with room for impact and long‑term growth.

• Lead the month‑end and year‑end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and financial statements
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to leadership
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and accruals as needed
• Assist with audit preparation and serve as a point of contact for external auditors
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Review and improve accounting processes to increase efficiency
• Prepare ad‑hoc reports and assist with special projects
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with finance, operations, and management teams

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Proficiency with accounting software (Quick Books, Net Suite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modeling)
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem‑solving ability
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with clients and leadership
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
