Responsibilities- Manage and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and nonprofit organizations.
- Lead tax planning and consulting engagements, providing proactive strategies to help clients minimize tax liabilities and achieve their financial goals.
- Supervise, mentor, and train tax staff and seniors, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.
- Maintain and build strong client relationships through effective communication and exceptional service.
- Stay current with evolving tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
- Assist with firm-wide initiatives, workflow optimization, and business development efforts.
- CPA license required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
Master’s in Taxation preferred. - 6+ years of progressive public accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management capacity.
- Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience with tax preparation and research software (e.g., CCH Axcess, Pro System fx, or similar platforms).
