Accounting Supervisor; Hybrid

A leading organization in the financial services sector is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily accounting operations, support financial reporting, and lead a high‑performing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys coaching and developing others, and excels in maintaining accuracy and strong internal controls.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals
• Oversee general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, daily/weekly/monthly close tasks, and financial reporting
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across all accounting activities
• Collaborate with cross‑functional departments to ensure accurate financial data flow
• Support internal and external audits, regulatory reviews, and annual budget processes
• Maintain and enhance accounting procedures, controls, and documentation
• Identify process improvements and implement operational efficiencies
• Address issues, discrepancies, and escalations in a timely, solutions‑oriented manner

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (required)
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; financial institution experience preferred
• Prior supervisory/leadership experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting best practices, and financial reporting
• Advanced skills in Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively
