Robert Half Consulting Division is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team to help a client in the local Sacramento area with an immediate need. Experience required: month end close, P& L, knowledge of Sales vs Cost of Sales, critical thinking, works autonomously while communicating clearly. Requirements

- Proven experience in month-end closing processes and financial reporting.

- Strong understanding of profit and loss statements and cost of sales analysis.

- Proficiency in general ledger maintenance and journal entry creation.

- Demonstrated ability to perform account and bank reconciliations accurately.

- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work autonomously while maintaining clear and effective communication.

- Knowledge of accounting principles and relevant regulations.
