Senior Audit Associate

Location:

Sacramento, CA.

• Oversee and manage multiple audit assignments across sectors such as nonprofit, benefits plans, governmental entities, and other industries.
• Execute daily audit tasks and supervise the entire client engagement process from commencement to conclusion.
• Manage the budget, plan, execute, direct staff, and finalize financial statements.
• Prepare necessary financial statements, related disclosures, and management letters, ensuring quality, thoroughness, and accuracy.
• Identify and communicate technical matters to clients and firm management.
• Maintain proactive and effective communication with management, staff, and clients.
• Utilize accounting software systems and audit programs to perform accounting functions and audit engagements.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Craft and execute audit plans as an audit senior.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems.
• Demonstrated experience with audit programs.
• Familiarity with various accounting functions.
• Proven track record in managing audit engagements.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in auditing.
• Ability to develop and execute audit plans.
• Previous experience in a role as an audit senior is preferred.
