This position may be eligible for a telework opportunity in accordance with departmental policies and operational needs. Employees are currently required to work in-person at least four (4) days per week in alignment with Executive Order N-22-25. Additional in-office days may be required based on operational needs.

About This Role

Under the close supervision of the Accounting Administrator II, the Accounting Technician is responsible for providing technical accounting support for the department's accounts payable and general accounting functions.

Responsibilities
  • Process invoices and payments
  • Maintain accounting records and files
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies
  • Track contracts and purchase orders
  • Provide accounting customer service
  • Process incoming accounting mail
  • Support departmental financial operations in accordance with State policies, the State Administrative Manual (SAM), and Financial Information System for California (FI$Cal) procedures
Salary

USD 3,874.00 - 4,851.00 L/month (minimum salary range)
