The amount of telework is at the discretion of the department and is subject to change as business needs arise. Under the general direction of the Accounting Administrator I (Supervisor), the incumbent independently performs the more difficult accounting duties which require strong analytical skills and an understanding of the entire accounting process including the need to: maintain the Office Revolving Fund Centralized Treasury System (CTS) accounts and cash state account.

Analyze Financial Information System of California (FI$Cal) travel/salary advances and vendor payments and request replenishment of Office Revolving Fund account in FI$Cal. Ensure that the inbound and outbound data files exchanged between the State Controller's Office, FI$Cal and EDD are in agreement. Utilizing FI$Cal, be able to make adjustment and/or corrections necessary to properly post all revenue and expenditures. The Senior Accounting Officer Specialist will do random review of staff work and will be the lead in providing the proper guidance to staff as they process their workloads in Fi$CAL.
