Accounts Payable Clerk

The Robert Half Consulting division is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to assist with the day-to-day processing of vendor invoices and payment activities. The ideal Accounts Payable Clerk is detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. This individual will play a key role in maintaining strong vendor relationships and supporting the overall accounting function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices for timely payment.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation.
• Code invoices and enter data accurately into the accounting system.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and vendor inquiries.
• Reconcile vendor statements and ensure accounts are current.
• Maintain organized accounts payable files and supporting documentation.
• Assist with month-end close activities, including account reconciliations and accruals.
• Monitor outstanding liabilities and ensure compliance with payment terms.
• Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to address accounting-related questions.
