Ledgent Finance & Accounting is partnering with a respected nonprofit organization to identify a Payroll Specialist for their growing team.

What You'll Do- Process multi-cycle payroll accurately and timely
- Maintain employee payroll records and data
- Review timekeeping information and resolve discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Process payroll-related deductions, garnishments, and benefits
- Reconcile payroll accounts and assist with reporting
- Support audits and year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation
- Partner with HR and Accounting to address payroll questions and issues
- 4+ years of payroll processing experience required
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices
- Experience with payroll systems and Microsoft Excel
- High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Experience in a nonprofit environment is a plus
- Salary: $65,000 - $75,000
