We're seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing accounting team. Reporting to strong mentors, thisrole is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to leverage the strong technical accounting
foundation built in public accounting while gaining broader ownership and business exposure in industry.
You’ll play a key role in the month-end close process, support both corporate accounting and a growing
multi-site operating portfolio, and partner with leadership on process improvements and systems

A defining part of this role is elevating how the work is prepared. As we scale, our workbooks,
reconciliations, and journal entry support need to be formula-driven, clearly documented, and traceable
back to source, so that any reviewer, auditor, or joint venture partner can follow the numbers. You will be
a primary preparer of that work and a key voice in setting the standard for it.
Key ResponsibilitiesOwn key aspects of the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and
Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Prepare account reconciliations and analyze balance sheet activity.
Support both corporate accounting activities and a growing operating portfolio.
Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages for management, lenders, and joint venture and
investor partners, including supporting schedules and variance explanations.
Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze data, build reports, and improve processes.
Help build the standards themselves: workpaper templates, journal entry naming conventions,
reconciliation formats, and the monthly close checklist.
