Downtown Sacramento, CA | $70,000 - $85,000 Ledgent Finance & Accounting is partnering with a collaborative and community-minded Sacramento organization to identify a Staff Accountant. Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger
- Perform account and bank reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end close
- Analyze financial data and investigate variances
- Support financial reporting and audit preparation
- Participate in process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration required
- 2+ years of accounting experience preferred
- Knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles
- Strong Excel and accounting system skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
