Collections & Billing Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Collections & Billing Specialist to manage billing, collections, and client account support. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Previous billing, collections, accounting, or customer service experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Typing speed of 45+ WPM.

• Prepare, review, and process high-volume draft and final invoices.
• Ensure compliance with client billing guidelines and fee agreements.
• Submit and track invoices through electronic billing platforms.
• Set up and maintain matters within the billing system.
• Manage billing and collections for assigned accounts, including follow-up on past-due balances.
• Research and resolve billing issues with clients and attorneys.
• Assist with reporting, audits, special projects, and administrative tasks.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Team-oriented, adaptable, and able to maintain strict confidentiality.
