Position

Sacramento Area Sewer District (Sac Sewer) is currently accepting applications for an Administrative Services Officer II position. Applications will be screened after the following filing deadlines at 5PM:

Administrative Services Officer II is the advanced journey/lead worker class in this series. Positions can be located in any department. Duties are performed in the department's central administrative office or may be performed in a decision or other organizational sub-unit. This administrative series is designed to perform the full range and a wide variety of administrative support service duties in a staff capacity in line departments.

Specific duties of individual positions vary considerably. Analytical, budgetary, and fiscal duties may be a major or minor part of individual jobs depending on location and assignment. Incumbents generally are not responsible for line functions and do not perform line duties of the specific department, division or program to which they are assigned. Most positions require that the incumbent become knowledgeable in those areas in order to provide administrative support.

Minimum Qualifications

Either: 1. One (1) year of experience in Sac Sewer services in the class of Administrative Services Officer I.

AND

A bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in a field directly related to the administrative, management or fiscal duties of this class.

Or: 2. One (1) year of administrative experience at the full journey level or higher where experience is comparable to, and at a level equivalent to, the duties of Administrative Services Officer I, as described in the distinguishing characteristics and example of duties for that class.
