Compensation Range: $42,000 – $49,000.
Olson Remcho, LLP, a leading California law firm practicing in campaign finance and election law, seeks to hire for multiple positions in its Compliance Reporting Unit. The Compliance Reporting Unit delivers financial and compliance services to clients in a fast‑paced and deadline‑driven environment. Position overview, including compensation, is below. Compliance Reporting Assistant provides basic accounting, reporting, and data entry support on a team under the direction and supervision of a Team Coordinator. Candidate must have excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and math skills. A legal or accounting background, and Excel knowledge is required. Two years of professional experience and some college is preferred. Position is non‑exempt and will require overtime during predetermined reporting periods.
Salary range $55k-$65k.
Compliance Reporting Specialist provides advanced accounting, reporting, and data entry support on a team under the direction and supervision of a Team Coordinator. Candidate will help administer a portfolio of clients by entering and maintaining financial information such as deposits and disbursements for the timely reporting of campaign, major donor, IRS and lobby reports. Candidate must have prior experience in political compliance reporting and ability to organize and prioritize daily workload and reporting deadlines simultaneously.
Position is non‑exempt and will require overtime during predetermined reporting periods. Salary range $60k-$90k.
