Gift Processor II

Sutter Provides all Equipment Requirements:
2+ years of experience in gift processing, philanthropy operations, financial processing, or high-volume transactional data entry
Experience with processing, reviewing, and accurately recording charitable gifts and donor transactions
Experience with donor database, CRM, or comparable transaction-processing systems
Ability to reconcile gift records, batches, payments, and supporting documentation
Ability to research and resolve discrepancies while maintaining accurate donor and financial records
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven processing
Ability to maintain confidentiality of donor, financial, and organizational information
Ability to work a full-time day schedule of 8-hour days / 40 hours per week
Preferred Requirements:
Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, foundation, or philanthropy operations
Experience with complex gift entry, adjustments, refunds, or transaction corrections
Experience supporting month-end or year-end reconciliation activities
Experience coordinating with philanthropy, finance, accounting, or donor relations teams
Summary / Duties:
The Gift Processor II supports Sutter Health philanthropy operations by accurately processing, reviewing, and maintaining charitable gift transactions and donor records. Responsibilities include entering gifts into applicable systems, validating supporting documentation, preparing and balancing transaction batches, reconciling payment and gift information, and researching discrepancies or incomplete records. The role ensures donor and financial information is accurate, complete, confidential, and processed within established timelines.
Additional duties include making transaction corrections, maintaining organized documentation, supporting reconciliation activities, and responding to internal questions related to gift records. This position requires strong accuracy, organization, follow-through, and the ability to manage a consistent volume of detailed financial and donor-related transactions.
