Position Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Director, the Office Operations Coordinator is responsible for primary personnel and budgetary support along with planning and organizing the total administrative operations of the Disability Access Center (DAC) and ensuring that the personnel, budgetary, and administrative objectives of the department area. The Office Operations Coordinator is responsible for overseeing, analyzing, documenting, and recommending proper courses of actions related to day-to-day operations, administrative workflow, and office policies and procedures.
The incumbent is responsible for general and special administrative functions within DAC and providing administrative support to the Director, Associate Director, and Coordinators.
The Office Operations Manager must have thorough knowledge of budget policies, procedures, and functions of DAC and the university in order to coordinate budget, personnel, and administrative operations. This position requires extensive interaction and a positive working relationship with DAC staff and the campus community, which includes university staff, faculty, and students.

CSU Classification Salary Range
: $4,367 per month (Step
1) -$6,362 per month (Step 20)
Salary step placement will be determined based on relevant qualifications and professional experience.

Department Information
The Disability Access Center (DAC) works collaboratively with students, faculty, staff, and administrators to provide a wide range of academic accommodations that ensure disabled students have equal educational access.
Entry to this classification requires a fully functional knowledge of and skill in standard office procedures and practices, as well as an ability to understand and operate in a variety of organizational structures. Additionally, incumbents are expected to have a thorough knowledge of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation and be able to clearly communicate orally and in writing. Some positions may require a knowledge of business mathematics beyond basic arithmetic.
The ability to use and quickly learn new office support technology systems and software packages is also a prerequisite.
These entry qualifications would normally be obtained through a high school program, technical/vocational program, or their equivalents combined with several years of related office work experience.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
- Experience and proficiency using standard office equipment and software such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Common Management Systems (CMS), Common Financial Systems (CFS), Finance Data Warehouse (FDW), COGNOS and other software systems used by department.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Working knowledge of budget, payroll, personnel, and procurement policies and procedures.
- Working knowledge of applicable university infrastructure, policies, and procedures.
