Job SummaryWe are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Intake Coordinator to join our team. As an Intake Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the intake process of new clients. Your main duties will include gathering client information, assessing needs, scheduling appointments, and coordinating with internal teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Manage the intake process of new clients, ensuring all necessary information is collected accurately and efficiently
- Assess client needs and determine the appropriate resources and services to meet those needs
- Schedule appointments for clients and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth transitions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation
- Respond promptly to inquiries from clients and provide necessary information and guidance
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations and effective service delivery
- Attend staff meetings and trainings to stay updated on organizational policies and procedures
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance the intake process and overall client experience
- Adhere to confidentiality and privacy guidelines to protect client information
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification is a plus
- Proven experience as an Intake Coordinator or in a similar role
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using computer software and data entry systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with healthcare systems is a plus
- Compassionate and empathetic approach when dealing with clients
- Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with a team
