is now accepting applications for a part-time Administrative Support Specialist. Candidates must be able to demonstrate the principles and practices of modern office administration, Quick Books Invoicing, filing systems, and business correspondence, including experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Strong written communication skills and principles and practices of professional business communication are required, including correct English usage, grammar, spelling, vocabulary, and punctuation. To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and experience: exceptional customer service personality; demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines with minimal errors; proficiency in administrative support processing methodologies and tools;

proven track record in delivering excellent customer service and supporting others as assigned.

Our Admin Support Specialists perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Receive and screen phone calls and emails, and communicates with attorneys, clients, and staff
  • Prepare documents, correspondence, and memoranda
  • Maintain case materials in both digital and hard copy
  • Ensures the accuracy of documents, including grammar, punctuation, and syntax
  • Work with attorneys, paralegals, and other legal assistants in our team-driven environment
  • Administrative and clerical procedures and systems
  • Organize and schedue clerical activities and legal office services
  • Follow policies and procedures at all times
  • Compose written documents and material independently or from oral instructions; compile and verify data and prepare clear, accurate and concise correspondence, records and reports
  • Understand and respect limits of authority
  • Use tact, discretion and diplomacy in dealing with sensitive situations and concerned customers/clients
  • Work under tight time constraints to meet deadlines.
  • Follow procedures and take action within established authority limits.
  • Work with the utmost discretion; maintain confidentiality of court documents and records.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships, and interact appropriately, with others during the course of the workday
  • Adapt to meet current business needs, and actively look to assist others

The ideal candidate will be able to perform basic, bookkeeping, and data entry and must have excellent organizational skills, be proficient with software applications, and be able to multitask. Some desired personal traits we require are dependability, discretion, confidentiality, effective and friendly interpersonal skills.

Required Experience

  • Administrative Assistant: A minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible clerical and administrative experience performing complex and highly responsible office and administrative duties using standard office computer programs and office equipment.
  • Typing speed of at least 55 (net) words per minute with minimal errors
  • High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Test (HiSET)
  • Strong work ethic with demonstrated ability to follow directions
