Project Coordinator I – The Boldt Company
Location:
Sacramento, CA (office). Salary range: $55,250.00 – $68,510.00 per year.

How Your Role Fits Into BoldtThe Project Coordinator collaborates with Project Managers, Estimators, Field Staff, Subcontractors, Suppliers, and Customers to deliver construction projects. The role includes administrative tasks related to safety, quality, cost and commitment reports, equipment rental, document control, and procurement support. The Coordinator handles multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining composure, efficiency, accuracy, and contributing to the group’s success.
Responsibilities- Perform clerical and administrative tasks such as accounts payable, payroll, and project group leadership support.
- Support safety, quality, project cost, and commitment reporting.
- Enter and maintain job set‑up, accounts payable and other data within company software.
- Monitor and maintain all project files.
- Compile and distribute project‑related information to vendors and internal partners.
- Assist Project Manager(s) with documentation to track, pursue, and bill for extra work.
- Collect information for Project Manager(s) for analysis and billing.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- High School diploma required;
Associate degree in business/accounting or related field preferred. Equivalent education and experience may be considered. - One to two years of construction accounting experience or equivalent training.
- Knowledge of standard accounting procedures, company policies, and standards.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 suite.
- Strong organization and problem‑solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license may be required; annual Motor Vehicle Records check may be conducted.
Must occasionally use computer keyboard, operate tools or controls, position objects, and maneuver in confined spaces. Regularly required to remain in a stationary position, move up to 20 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), and travel. Work occurs both inside and outside under heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Personal protective equipment is required. Overtime and weekends may be requested.
